As an IT Engineer, you are responsible for managing our infrastructure, with a focus on servers and networks. Our IT environments range from outdated to modern, and your challenge is to make improvements and elevate the infrastructure to a higher level. You work closely with your colleagues and project teams to ensure that our IT environment operates optimally and meets the needs of our organization and clients. As an enthusiastic member of our diverse internal IT team, you collaborate closely with your colleagues, including IT engineers and experts, operating at various levels. Together with the Service Desk, we ensure smooth operation of our IT environment.

These are the core responsibilities that define your role: 

• Deploying, maintaining, and improving IT services for staff.
• Installing and maintaining environments (servers), both on-premise and in the cloud. 
• Performing preventive maintenance, health checks, and recurring operational activities according to schedule.
• Providing technical support to and assisting the implementation team.
• Offering assistance to internal users to meet OLA levels.
• Providing advice to the IT Manager and project teams using our environments.
• Contributing to periodic reports on the status of all environments.
• Creating and maintaining IT documentation.
• Keeping knowledge up to date on information security policies, processes, and procedures of the company.
• Identifying and implementing IT standards and improvements in processes, procedures, and tools.
• Providing input for proposals and work orders for external parties.

• An excellent gross salary between ANG 5,740 to 8,440 per month (based on experience and full-time employment on Curaçao);
• A one-year contract followed by an indefinite contract when we are the perfect match;

• A variable gross compensation of an extra month's salary per year, paid monthly;

What do we need from you?

• You have a minimum of 4 years of work experience as a server administrator, system administrator, systems engineer, systems administrator, or a similar role.
• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
• You have a degree in ICT, Computer Science, System and Network Administration, or a similar field of study.
• You have Microsoft certifications in Server, System Administrator, Infrastructure, Cloud, Azure.
• Having an ITIL certificate is a plus.
• You speak and write English perfectly. Dutch is a plus.
