Your Challenge as Solutions Architect

Are you ready to take ownership of solution-level technical architecture at a fast-growing, international technology company? Blyce is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Technology/Product team in Curaçao or Medellín. In this senior individual contributor role, you will be the technical counterpart to the Product Manager, ensuring that application and solution designs are scalable, pragmatic, and aligned with the Blyce 2030 product vision.

Every day, you will guide teams toward practical, high-quality solutions, make key architecture decisions, and contribute directly to shaping the future of our platform and products.

Key responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own and govern solution architecture for assigned product(s).

• Make key technical decisions related to performance, scalability, and quality.

• Translate abstract product designs into practical, implementable solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align architecture with product strategy.

• Guide teams toward scalable, pragmatic, and sustainable solutions.

• Balance long-term vision with short-term delivery needs.

Mentorship & Influence

• Act as a technical advisor across teams and products.

• Lead through expertise, knowledge sharing, and informed decision-making.

• Foster a collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-focused culture.

Strategic Impact

• Support the organization’s transition toward a single-product, scalable vision.

• Contribute directly to the execution of the Blyce 2030 long-term product strategy.

• Address complex product and solution challenges with structured, pragmatic approaches.

• A competitive gross monthly salary (based on experience and full-time employment on Curaçao);

What We Need From You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution or application architecture, or a similar technical lead role.

• Proven experience owning and designing solution-level architectures in complex product environments.

• Strong technical architecture skills, with expertise in event-driven, layered, and microservice-aware architectures.

• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions balancing long-term strategy and short-term delivery.

• High level of English proficiency (non-negotiable).

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills; able to influence without authority.
