Your challenge within Blyce
Are you ready to embark on a dynamic career as a Be Informed Developer at Blyce? This is your chance to be a part of the digital transformation of government services in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and developing countries, such as Curaçao, Bonaire, Anguilla, and Samoa.
In our Traineeship, you will be trained to become a Be Informed Developer within 6-12 months, depending on your learning pace. During this time, you receive dedicated training and guidance from experienced colleagues. You will work in a global, multicultural team, tackling user stories, resolving errors, and implementing new features. You will have the freedom to grow, develop your skills, and make a real impact on global digital transformation.
Who You Are
You recently completed a bachelor's or master’s degree in fields like Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication and Multimedia Design, Theoretical Mathematics, or other related disciplines. You preferably have experience working at a software company or project organization during an internship or employment. Intellectual challenges are your playground, and you’re eager to tackle them head-on. In your downtime, you thrive on puzzles and mind games, like escape rooms, because they ignite your problem-solving creativity. With your ability to think abstractly and make quick connections, you approach complex situations with patience and structure. Quality is your top priority, and you take responsibility for delivering well-crafted products. Deadlines? You handle them with ease, knowing how to set priorities and maintain focus.
What we offer:
A competitive gross monthly salary between Cg. 5.550,- and Cg. 7.350,- depending on experience (based on full-time employment on Curaçao);
23 vacation days, with the option to buy or sell 8 additional days each year;
8.33% vacation pay;
A gross variable compensation equivalent to an extra month’s salary per year, paid out per month;
A gross fixed expense allowance of Cg. 500 per month;

Job requirements
What do we need from you?
You have a Bachelor or master’s degree in informatics, Computer Science, Communication and Multimedia Design, Software Engineering, Software Development, Theoretical Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or another related field.
You have internship or work experience at a software company or project organization.
Professional proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.
You have an affinity for software development, such as building websites or developing apps;
An advantage if you have experience working with the Be Informed platform or other Business Process Management platforms.
