Your Challenge as Manual Test Engineer
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role as a Manual Test Engineer with Blyce? Join us and play a part in the digital transformation journeys of government clients in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and developing countries, including Curaçao, Bonaire, Anguilla, and Samoa. Your mission: ensure that our complex, innovative applications meet the highest standards of quality, ultimately enabling our clients to leverage technology and drive meaningful change in the lives of their citizens.
As a Manual Test Engineer at Blyce, you are a crucial member of a young, international, and multidisciplinary product team. You are deeply involved in every project phase, collaborating closely with our Test Team, which spans across the Netherlands, Curaçao, Suriname, Colombia, Poland, and Canada. Together, we elevate testing standards within the organization, sharing knowledge and passion for delivering top-quality products. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make all the difference as you execute detailed manual tests on our extensive and complex applications.
Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed manual tests on our software applications to ensure functionality.
- Collaborating with the product and test teams to plan and execute comprehensive test strategies.
- Reporting and documenting test results, identifying defects, and working with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintaining and updating test plans and test cases as needed.
- Providing feedback on product quality and suggesting improvements.
- Communicating fluently and professionally in both Dutch and English with all stakeholders.
- Participating in project meetings and providing input on quality assurance processes.

We offer an attractive benefits package including:
- An excellent gross salary between EUR 3,400 and 5,500 per month (based on experience and full-time employment in the Netherlands).
- A one-year contract followed by an indefinite contract when we are the perfect match.
- Enjoy 28 vacation days with the possibility to buy or sell 8 vacation days per year.
- You receive 8.33% vacation pay per year.
- A variable gross compensation of an extra month's salary per year, paid monthly.

Job requirements
What do we need from you?
- You have HBO work- and thinking level.
- You have at least 3 years of work experience as a software tester.
- You hold ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and/or TMap® Suite Test Engineer certificate(s) or equivalent qualifications.
- Your Dutch and English are perfect, both spoken and written.
