About the Role & Your Impact
As a Business Analyst at Blyce, you bridge business, technology, and legislation by identifying real client needs and turning them into clear, actionable requirements. You collaborate closely with clients, product owners, architects, and developers, and play an active role in shaping product direction.
You turn complex legislation into practical solutions and contribute to systems that enable governments to collect taxes and deliver public services effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze client requests and translate them into clear requirements and user stories
Collaborate with product owners and development teams in backlog refinement and solution design
Map and improve business processes (BPMN), ensuring alignment with legislation and systems
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to clarify needs and validate solutions
Maintain structured documentation in Jira and Confluence throughout the product lifecycle
Job requirements
What You Bring
Must-have:
3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
Experience with BPMN or process modeling
Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, user stories, and stakeholder collaboration in a development environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Fiscal studies, or another analytical field (or equivalent experience)
Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Experience in GovTech, public sector, or B2B tech environments
Affinity with AI tools for analysis and research
Competencies:
Critical thinking and strong analytical judgment
Structured, accurate and process-oriented way of working
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Curious, investigative, and result-driven mindset
Client-focused with a proactive attitude
What We Offer
A competitive gross monthly salary between XCG 6.000,- and XCG 8.000,-, depending on experience (based on full-time employment on Curaçao)
23 vacation days, with the option to buy or sell 8 additional days each year
8.33% vacation pay
A gross variable compensation equivalent to an extra month’s salary per year (paid monthly)
A gross fixed expense allowance of XCG 500,- per month
